Tuscan arcade outside Gun Room apartment, Ingleby Manor
 In Lord de Lisle’s day, the Gun Room was where the guns were kept along the walls in large glass-fronted oak cases, for the shooting parties. Until the arrival of cars, the main entrance to the Manor was through the heavy double doors into the Tower Courtyard, and the carriages drew up there, his Lordship’s guests went upstairs, and the coachmen and servants waited downstairs in the servants’ hall, hopefully to be plied with mead and victuals by the maids.

 Gun Room is now a ground-floor apartment on the front of Ingleby Manor for two people and is suitable for accompanied disabled guests, with access from the front hall as well as from the Tower Courtyard, and your car can be parked at the front door for unloading before driving round to the main parking area. The sitting/dining room looks south west, as does the large bedroom, which has a king / twin bed. The fully-equipped kitchen looks into the imposing Tower Courtyard, which has a very fine Tuscan Arcade and garden furniture. The bathroom has a roll-top bath and a wet-room walk-in shower area. There is a log-burning stove in the sitting room.

Weekly Bookings for Gun Room are Saturday to Saturday. Arrival Times not before 3pm Departure by 10am.


3-Night Short Breaks are bookable 7 days in advance at Easter, Early May Bank Holiday, Late May Bank Holiday, July and August, Christmas and New Year; 4 weeks in advance for the rest of the year when available. They are priced at two-thirds of the Weekly Rate.


Short Breaks are available Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights, or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Heating, Electricity and Logs are included in the rental price.

EV Charging: £25 weekly charge for the use of EV charging.

Dogs: One well-behaved dog by prior arrangement with christine@inglebymanor.co.uk with a weekly charge of £25 payable with the deposit on booking. Please see Conditions of Hire for Pets on our web site


DISCOUNTS: There is a 5% Discount for weekly bookings confirmed before Christmas. 5% discount for the second and subsequent weekly bookings in the same Summer Season.
